Hello , I’m Adele a registered midwife and mum of three .
Through my work supporting families in pregnancy and birth, I saw how many parents feel overwhelmed by conflicting information. Wise Woman Birth & Rituals was created to provide calm, evidence-based guidance so you can approach birth feeling informed and confident .
Midwife-Led Antenatal Classes
Preparing for birth can feel exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming when there is so much information available online. These antenatal classes are designed to give expectant parents clear, evidence-based guidance from a practising midwife, helping you understand what to expect during labour, birth and the early postpartum period.
In this relaxed, small-group session we will explore the stages of labour, when to attend hospital, comfort measures and pain relief options, and what to expect if birth takes a different path such as induction or assisted delivery. We will also discuss practical ways birth partners can provide meaningful support during labour.
Classes are intentionally kept small to allow plenty of time for questions and discussion in a supportive environment. The aim is not to create the “perfect birth plan”, but to help you feel informed, reassured and confident as you prepare to meet your baby.
Each couple will also receive a pregnancy preparation pack including several midwife-created guides to support you throughout pregnancy, birth planning and early postpartum recovery.
Suitable for expectant parents from around 20 weeks of pregnancy onwards, with birth partners warmly encouraged to attend.
Ready to Prepare for Birth?
Birth preparation is not about having all the answers — it’s about understanding what to expect and feeling supported as you approach one of the most important experiences of your life.
These small-group antenatal classes are designed to give you the knowledge, reassurance and confidence to approach labour feeling more prepared, while also creating space to ask questions and connect with other expectant parents.
